This isn’t just another album release—it’s a full-blown rock revolution! Schenker, the mastermind behind some of the most legendary UFO tracks like "Doctor Doctor," "Rock Bottom," and "Only You Can Rock Me," is taking us on a wild ride through his unmatched career. "My Years With UFO," the album that marks this monumental anniversary, is only the beginning. Schenker hit the studio in June 2023 with a mission: to let the world hear what he’s been cooking up over the last 50 years. And trust us, you’re going to want to crank up the volume for this!
First up, Schenker finished off his work on "My Years With UFO," an album that's already generating buzz for being a masterpiece. But he didn’t stop there. He dived straight into the next project—an epic new Michael Schenker Group (MSG) album titled "Don’t Sell Your Soul." And who’s joining him? None other than former SKID ROW frontman Erik Grönwall, the legendary Robin McAuley, and his co-producer Michael Voss. This album is set to be a sonic explosion of killer vocals and Schenker’s signature riffs.
But wait—there’s more! What was originally planned as an instrumental album took a surprise turn. As Schenker laid down the tracks, Voss started adding vocals that blew everyone away. The result? An album so powerful it shocked even Schenker himself! Titled "Freedom Of Expression," this record is tuned to the same frequency as PINK FLOYD's legendary "Dark Side Of The Moon" and features guest appearances by none other than SCORPIONS’ ex-drummer Herman Rarebell. Schenker is confident that this album will leave listeners absolutely stunned.
