I know we've beaten this to death on the show, but who are these people that go see ANY of these singers that can no longer do it? I used to begrudge Vince, Don, DLR, etc. for doing this to the fans, but I no longer do. There's decades of evidence easily available that showcases the lack of a great show being provided by so many singers out there today... so if someone is willing to give them between $20-50k to show up, good on them. By contrast, I'm a fat fuck that would show up EVERY time if someone offered me $20k to talk for an hour about healthy diet and lifestyle... EVERY time. So I can't blame them for making their bank.
My question though - who the fuck are these people paying for these tickets, which convinces the promoters that the "quality of show" is not important?
Take this show over the weekend with Vince Neil. It's typical terrible... and it's a packed show once again. So who are these people?
Are they fair people that just happened to be at the fair?
Are they Motley ...
