In a shocking turn of events, a private jet owned by MÖTLEY CRÜE lead singer Vince Neil was involved in a severe accident at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona. The incident, which occurred on a bustling Monday afternoon, resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries, casting a shadow over the vibrant rock scene.
The Incident
The crash unfolded around 2:30 p.m. when a Learjet 35A, operated by Neil's company Chromed In Hollywood, veered off the runway after landing. According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the jet's left main landing gear failed, leading to a catastrophic collision with a parked Gulfstream 200 business jet on the airport ramp. This private jet accident not only disrupted airport operations but also sparked a flurry of discussions on aviation safety, private jet maintenance, and airport runway incidents.
