Another photo from the recent Coldplay concert, my good friend Ace Frehley looking surprisingly youthful and having his blotches and pockmarks clear up and his paramour, Vinnie Vincent, also looking noticeably younger and wrinkle-free. I'll never forget signing Ace to Smegmaforce Records. It was one of the highlights of my career. And I'll never forget my interview with Vinnie and having it air globally as we spoke. Even if I die before I can buy a third house, I'll die happy. Hopefully, my pilates classes will keep me around until I'm a ripe old age.
The women of Plush at New Bedford, Massachusetts last night. They went live on Instagram, and I can tell you that they can definitely pull off playing as a trio if that's what they ultimately decide to do. I'm looking forward to someone posting footage of them doing whatever song they were playing here. I like the fact that they'll experiment with unusual instruments and try different arrangements. To me, that's one of the hallmarks of a great band. And it definitely helps that they have a drummer who can also play keyboards. She's right at home in a band that already had 2 multi-instrumentalists.
