Los Angeles, CA – June 30, 2025 – Veteran rock supergroup Category 7 has announced the cancellation of their highly anticipated Latin American tour, citing "non-compliance of the contract at some points" and, more critically, "low ticket sales." This marks the second international tour scrapped by the band, raising concerns about the viability of touring for even established acts in the current music industry climate.
The cancellation, confirmed via an official statement released by the band's representatives, informed ticket holders that refunds would begin on Tuesday, July 1st.
This unfortunate announcement follows closely on the heels of Category 7's previously cancelled US tour earlier this year, which was also attributed to insufficient ticket pre-sales to make the extensive run financially feasible.
