Ace Frehley, Original KISS Guitarist, Died from Accidental Head Injuries in Fall, Medical Examiner Confirms
Ace Frehley, the legendary original guitarist of KISS, died from blunt trauma injuries to his head caused by a fall, according to an official report released Monday. The Morris County Medical Examiner ruled the manner of death as accidental. Frehley was 74 years old.
The confirmation, obtained by People magazine, comes weeks after the rock icon's passing. Frehley's longtime manager, John Ostrosky, had previously announced to the New York Post that the musician was laid to rest on October 22 at Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, New York.
A private memorial service was held the day prior, on October 21, at Sinatra Memorial Home in Yonkers, New York.
