Texas' incendiary crossover thrash metal bandĀ LIFE CYCLESĀ is back with a new EP,Ā No One Escapes Death, due outĀ March 27thĀ viaĀ 1126 Records. Following a string of relentless singles and EP's and countless ferocious live shows over the last decade, the five-piece continues their warpath, showing no mercy on their latest release, comprised of 6 face-melting tracks that feature the band's signature concoction of brutal thrash, hardcore and death metal.Ā
Commenting on the record, drummerĀ Xavier RiosĀ says:
āThis record is an expansion of our crossover sound with a focus on groove and detail in the riffs. We really wanted to display the journey weāve been on as a band the last couple of years through this project. The energy is on 10 and we have a little bit of new flavor this time around.ā
Today, the band ups the ante with another sonic assault, "Fatal Path," accompanied by the music video below.Ā
VocalistĀ Luis Lopez JrĀ discusses the track's lyrics:
"'Fatal Path' is about the evil persuasive ways of lust. Letting it drag you to dark places, it tricks you into believing itās more than just pleasure, ultimately pulling back the curtain and showing that it was all an illusion."

AboutĀ LIFE CYCLES:Ā
San Antonio thrash prodigies Life Cycles are doubling down on their classic Texas sound with 2026āsĀ No One Escapes Death.
Ā
The crewās take on classic Texas thrash is excellent, pairing mean riffs with technical precision while never losing sight of the infectious groove that dominates the sound.
Ā
āWe write music that we genuinely like,ā said vocalist Luis Lopez. āThat we would listen to, instead of trying to be like something else. This group doesnāt operate in a boxāwe write the music that we like to hear.ā
Ā
The record perfectly captures the energy of the groupās live shows.
Ā
āItās a party when we play,ā explained drummer Xavier Rios. āI always tell people that donāt like metal ācome to these showsā because youāre going to have a good time.ā
