REVIEW: BLS - ENGINES OF DEMOLITION
Yo, you filthy metal maniacs! Black Label Society just dropped ENGINES OF DEMOLITION and it’s a straight-up skull-smashing beast that’ll have you thrashing in your basement like a pissed-off bull! Zakk Wylde and the crew come out swingin’ with riffs so chunky and heavy they’ll cave your chest in, man. That opener “Name In Blood” hits like a freight train—big fat guitars, killer solos that scream and squeal, and Zakk’s voice growlin’ like he’s about to eat your face off. Fuck yeah!

They keep that bluesy groove goin’ the whole way, mixin’ in Sabbath-style hammer riffs that make your neck snap and some slower, meaner tracks that stomp like a pissed-off giant. But here’s the cool part—they throw in real heart too, like those tear-jerkin’ ballads that hit you in the feels without goin’ all soft. And that last song, the Ozzy tribute? Dude, it’s piano and acoustic stuff that starts quiet then explodes into this emotional solo that’ll make even the toughest dudes get a little misty. It’s badass and sad at the same time, perfect for cranking while you raise a beer to the Prince of Darkness.
No lame filler crap here like some of their older stuff—this one’s tight, focused, and just pure BLS fire from start to finish. Zakk’s guitar is on another level, the band’s locked in like a machine, and it all feels fresh even though it’s classic Black Label swagger. If you’re into heavy riffs, soul-shreddin’ vocals, and music that kicks your ass while makin’ you feel somethin’, this is the one, brothers!
I’m givin’ ENGINES OF DEMOLITION a 93 out of 100! Crank it loud or get the hell outta the pit! \m/
