The boys are back and the static isn't the only thing causing interference. Chris and Bear dive into the morbid reality of interviewing rock legends who are literally running out of time. From Roger Earl of Foghat and his "death list" of former bandmates to Pete Agnew's methodical pace, we’re breaking down why your childhood heroes are slowing down—and why the CMS is probably heading straight to hell for its Easter-themed carnage. If you think a 14-hour nap and a Dudley Moore movie is a wild Friday, you're in the right place.

Rolling Stone has done it again. The gatekeepers of "cool" just dropped their latest "Top 50 Greatest Bands of All Time" list, and it is a complete and utter disaster. In this segment, Chris and Neeley tear through the rankings, exposing the blatant hipster bias that places indie darlings and pop acts above the literal gods of Rock and Metal. How does a band with one album outrank legends with 40-year careers? Why are foundational metal bands buried at the bottom while "college radio" favorites take the top spots? We’re calling out the elitism, the snubbing of AC/DC and Van Halen, and the absolute lack of common sense at the most out-of-touch publication in music history.

If you think your hangovers are bad, you haven’t heard anything yet. In this episode, the guys dive deep into a legendary night of absolute debauchery that ended with a 43-drink bar tab and a drive home that shouldn't have been possible. From projectile vomiting on a woman’s back at Home Depot to losing a wedding ring in a lawnmower-related tragedy, this is the kind of chaos that only happens on THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW. We’re talking about the "Easter Cocktail" that spiraled into a 50-minute blackout drive and the accusations of cheating that followed a trip to Buffalo. If you aren't a VIP, you're missing the real story behind these blackouts.

Lili Reinhart is crying "sexism" because a director asked her to suck in her gut. Really? Neely and Chris dive into the total insanity of modern actresses complaining about the very industry that made them rich for being hot. From the unrealistic beauty standards of Old Hollywood icons like Marilyn Monroe to the current reign of Sydney Sweeney, the boys break down why "body dysmorphia" is becoming the go-to excuse for actresses who can't handle the job requirements of being a leading lady. Plus, a "Home Depot Test" proves that men aren't "intimidated" by hot girls—they’re just over the drama.

A few of you have messaged about various questions with Bandcamp... mostly that you guys were surprised by me saying that a very large amount of the music released in our genre (or the heavier stuff that is national that I listen to (ie: six feet under, cannibal corpse, etc.) is all out here on Bandcamp.

Neurosis Makes Shocking Return: Steve Von Till Reveals Instant Chemistry With Aaron Turner

In a development that has sent shockwaves through the heavy music community, legendary post-metal pioneers Neurosis are making a surprise comeback, and founding member Steve Von Till is opening up about the electrifying moment it all came together.

Get Neurosis: Car Window Laptop 5" Vinyl Decal Bumper Sticker Here: https://amzn.to/41v2NXg

The band, known for their intense, atmospheric soundscapes that have influenced generations of extreme and experimental metal acts, had been on an indefinite hiatus since their last album in 2016. Fans had largely accepted that the group's powerful, ritualistic live performances might be a thing of the past. But according to Von Till, the spark for a return ignited unexpectedly during a collaboration with Aaron Turner, the visionary behind ISIS and Sumac.

"It instantly felt right," Von Till shared in a candid interview, describing the chemistry that emerged the moment he and Turner began working together. The connection was immediate and undeniable, reigniting the creative fire that had defined Neurosis for decades. What started as a casual jam session quickly evolved into something much bigger, hinting at new material and possibly even live appearances on the horizon.

Neurosis formed in the late 1980s in Oakland, California, and quickly carved out a unique niche with their blend of sludge metal, industrial noise, and hypnotic tribal rhythms. Albums like "Through Silver in Blood," "Times of Grace," and "The Eye of Every Storm" became cornerstones of the genre, earning the band a cult following for their raw emotional depth and punishing sonic intensity. Their live shows were legendary—dark, immersive rituals that left audiences transformed.

The band's decision to step back in recent years came after a long and demanding career, with members pursuing solo projects and personal endeavors. Von Till himself has been active with his solo folk-inspired work and other collaborations, but the pull back to Neurosis proved too strong to ignore once the right collaborator entered the picture.

Aaron Turner, whose work with ISIS helped shape the atmospheric metal landscape in the 2000s, brings a fresh yet compatible energy to the fold. The two artists share a deep respect for sonic experimentation and emotional authenticity, creating a partnership that feels both nostalgic and forward-looking. Von Till emphasized how natural the process felt, as if the years apart had only sharpened their vision for what Neurosis could become next.

While details remain scarce, the news has already sparked intense speculation among fans. Will this mark a full-scale reunion with the original lineup? Are new recordings in the works? And most importantly, could we see Neurosis return to the stage for what might be unforgettable live experiences?

For now, the focus remains on the creative momentum building behind the scenes. Von Till's enthusiasm is palpable, suggesting that this isn't just a nostalgia trip but a genuine evolution of the band's uncompromising sound.

The metal world is watching closely as one of its most influential acts prepares to rise again. If the instant connection between Von Till and Turner is any indication, the return of Neurosis could deliver the kind of powerful, cathartic music that fans have been craving for years. Stay tuned for further updates as this story develops—this is one comeback that promises to deliver on every level.
