John Corabi Drops Explosive New Single '1969' and Debut Solo Album – A Raw Return to Rock's Turbulent Roots

Rock legend John Corabi has unleashed the official music video for his powerful new single "1969," the latest track from his highly anticipated debut full-length solo album "New Day," which dropped on April 24, 2026 via Frontiers Music Srl.

The song draws direct inspiration from today's chaotic headlines, transporting listeners back to the social and political turbulence of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Corabi describes "1969" as a gritty rocker fueled by a killer riff courtesy of Buckcherry's Stevie D and channeling the swampy, soulful energy of Creedence Clearwater Revival. The track perfectly captures the album's blend of classic '70s rock, blues, and soul, all delivered with Corabi's signature powerhouse vocals and heartfelt songwriting.

"New Day" marks Corabi's first complete solo album of original material, recorded in Nashville during the summer of 2025 and produced by multi-platinum hitmaker Marti Frederiksen, known for his work with Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, and Buckcherry. The record features an all-star lineup including Richard Fortus of Guns N' Roses on lead guitar, Paul Taylor on keys, Charlie Starr of Blackberry Smoke delivering scorching solos, and the Frederiksen family contributing across multiple instruments. Together they craft an organic, live-feeling sound packed with real performances and raw emotion.

Previously released singles "Così Bella (So Beautiful)" and "Your Own Worst Enemy" now sit alongside fresh cuts like the title track "New Day," "That Memory," "Faith, Hope And Love," and "When I Was Young," creating a rich, eclectic collection that feels both timeless and deeply personal. Corabi himself expressed his excitement: "I'm very excited for everybody to hear this new collection of songs! I wanted to put together an album of eclectic, organic songs that are reminiscent of the music I grew up listening to, and I truly believe the mission was accomplished! This is a 60's-70's sounding classic rock and roll record…Turn it up, and enjoy!!!"

With a career spanning over three decades, Corabi first exploded onto the scene with The Scream in the early '90s before stepping into Mötley Crüe's frontman role in 1992 for their self-titled album. He later co-founded Union with Bruce Kulick of Kiss, toured with Ratt, and has been a driving force in The Dead Daisies for the past decade. His 2022 autobiography "Horseshoes And Hand Grenades" pulled back the curtain on his wild journey from Philadelphia streets to rock stardom, and now "New Day" stands as his ultimate statement of rock 'n' roll passion.

Fans are already calling the album a triumphant return to authentic, riff-driven rock that stands tall against today's polished releases. With the music video for "1969" now live, Corabi is poised to bring these new songs to stages worldwide, proving once again why he remains one of rock's most respected and enduring voices.

Richie Sambora Strikes Back: Fan Fury Over "Fake" Bon Jovi Explodes Ahead of 2026 Tour

In a move that's sending shockwaves through the rock world, former Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora has quietly amplified fan frustration aimed squarely at frontman Jon Bon Jovi. With the band gearing up for a major 2026 comeback tour, Sambora took to social media to repost messages from die-hard supporters declaring that the current lineup simply isn't the real Bon Jovi.

KILLER PRICE ON THE BEST OF BON JOVI: CROSSROAD ON VINYL: https://amzn.to/3OoUM3h

The posts Sambora shared pull no punches. One fan wrote, "You are not Bon Jovi without Richie," while another slammed the band's current guitarist, demanding, "Bring back Richie!" A third echoed the sentiment: "There is NO Bon Jovi without the amazing." By hitting the repost button without adding his own words, Sambora let the fans do the talking — and the message landed like a power chord in a quiet arena.

This isn't the first time the topic of Sambora's absence has surfaced, but the timing couldn't be more explosive. Over a decade after his departure, the guitarist who co-wrote many of the band's biggest hits and helped define their arena-rock sound continues to cast a long shadow. Fans have long debated whether Bon Jovi can truly capture that classic magic without him on stage, and these latest reposts have reignited the conversation at the worst possible moment for the band.

Sambora's decision to amplify these criticisms speaks volumes in today's social media era, where a simple share can spark a firestorm. It positions him at the center of the debate without forcing him to make a direct statement. Insiders suggest the move feels intentional, especially given the complicated history between Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi. Their professional split remains one of rock's most talked-about lineup changes, with lingering questions about creative differences and personal tensions.

As Bon Jovi prepares to hit the road in 2026, the pressure is on. The band has enjoyed continued success with new members, but a vocal segment of the fanbase refuses to accept the version without its iconic six-string slinger. Sambora's involvement in the original glory years — from "Livin' on a Prayer" to "Wanted Dead or Alive" — made him inseparable from the band's identity for millions of listeners.

This latest drama highlights a deeper truth in the rock community: legacy acts carry the weight of their classic lineups wherever they go. Fans aren't just buying tickets to hear the hits; they crave the full experience that made those songs legendary. Reposting these passionate calls for a reunion puts the ball back in Jon Bon Jovi's court, forcing the conversation into the spotlight right as the tour machine starts rolling.

Will this lead to any actual reconciliation or guest appearances? History suggests caution — past rumors of a Sambora return have never materialized into anything concrete. Yet the fan demand remains loud and undeniable. Sambora's subtle social media play ensures that as Bon Jovi steps back into the arena lights in 2026, the ghost of the classic lineup will be right there with them.

For now, the rock world watches closely. One thing is certain: whether Sambora returns or not, the conversation about what truly makes Bon Jovi "Bon Jovi" is far from over. The power of the fans — and one strategic repost — has made sure of that.

GREEN JELLY CHRISTMAS BLOOD FEUD: Band Drops Copyright Hammer on Ex-Collaborator’s Holiday Soundtrack in Shocking New Escalation

The long-simmering war between shock-rock legends Green Jellÿ and their former bassist/social media provocateur Michael W. Snyder (aka Freetoe Feet) has just gone nuclear — and it’s ruining Christmas.

In a bombshell development revealed exclusively through documents provided by Snyder, the band — through associate Rob Gabriele and frontman William Charles Manspeaker (listed in the filing as “Rob Gabriele”) — has formally lodged a rights dispute against Snyder’s 2023 holiday release, Freetoe Feet Presents: A Green Jelly Christmas Soundtrack. The takedown notice was sent via CD Baby to iTunes distributors, directly challenging Snyder’s ownership of the project he created and released under the Green Jelly banner. The email, received by Snyder and shared with The CMS Network, reads in part:

“CD Baby received an email from iTunes stating it received a formally lodged rights dispute filed by Rob Gabriele, William Charles Manspeaker (Rob Gabriele), [email protected], regarding the Publicity on your submission Green Jelly - Green Jelly X-Mas, Freetoe Feet Presents: A Green Jelly Christmas Soundtrack. Do you wish to assert your rights? Do you have documentation that states you do own the rights and that the claimant does not?”
This marks the latest — and most legally aggressive — chapter in a very public 2025 implosion. Last August, Green Jellÿ founder Bill Manspeaker abruptly fired Snyder after he posted a controversial AI-generated meme about Ozzy Osbourne on the band’s official social channels shortly after Ozzy’s death. Manspeaker publicly condemned the post as “distasteful,” deleted it, and accused Snyder of hacking the page, stalking the band, and harassing his family with fake accounts. What followed was a messy online flame war complete with leaked texts, mutual accusations, and threats.

REALLY STRONG PRICE FOR GREEN JELLY'S GARBAGE BAND KIDS: https://amzn.to/4sRm8Np

Snyder, who had been a peripheral but visible collaborator since the mid-2010s (handling bass duties, memes, and occasional live appearances), maintained the Christmas soundtrack was his independent project — a punk-infused holiday effort featuring tracks like “Eat Santa’s Ham,” a 2022 reworking of “Green Jelly Xmas,” and other seasonal oddities. The release had been distributed through major platforms under the Green Jellÿ artist umbrella, with Snyder credited as Freetoe Feet.

Now, the band appears to be asserting control over the catalog and branding, even for material Snyder claims he created post-firing or during his loose affiliation. As of this writing, the album remains available on Apple Music and other streamers, but the formal dispute threatens its future visibility and Snyder’s ability to monetize it.

Green Jellÿ has a long history of protecting its chaotic brand — most famously changing from “Green Jellö” to “Green Jelly” after a trademark showdown with Kraft Foods in the early ’90s. Manspeaker has always maintained tight creative and legal control over the name and legacy. Rob Gabriele, a Toronto-based filmmaker, musician, and longtime Green Jellÿ collaborator (director of several of the band’s music videos and involved in recent film projects like Jesus Cop), is listed as the primary filer alongside Manspeaker.

Snyder has not yet publicly commented on his next steps, but the CD Baby notice gives him a direct opportunity to counter with proof of ownership. Sources close to the situation describe the move as the band “cleaning house” after the bitter split. The irony? A band famous for songs like “Three Little Pigs” and “The Bear Song” — anarchic, irreverent anthems that thumbed their noses at authority — is now wielding copyright paperwork like a sledgehammer in a holiday-themed family feud. Will Snyder fight back with documentation and keep the Christmas spirit alive? Or will Green Jellÿ’s legal Jell-O mold swallow another collaborator whole?

The war rages on — and this time, it’s got lawyers, takedown notices, and a very unhappy Santa.Stay tuned.

This story is developing.
