Great time last night!! Was fun chatting with everyone, and I thought personally that the show was a great cross between silliness and seriousness about the music we love.
Just wanted to give you guys a heads up here on a few things.
Moving forward, I'm going to be discontinuing uploading to Bitchute and Odysee. The fact of the matter is they are not generating much... certainly not for the time I have to put into keeping them alive. I'll keep them in case we ever need a backup to go live with (ie: if Rumble is ever down or something like that), but for now I won't be using them anymore.
I'm also going to stop posting full episodes of X. Through a lot of trial and error, reading, AI audits of our channels, etc., full episodes there don't work for us. I'm going to use X more like everyone else does - to talk some shit, post some shorts or short videos from the episodes, etc. With X, I'll also be looking at doing some sort of "Requests" preferences. This will be similar to Locals Fast Pass, but as a place for our non-paid locals people to get some requests ahead of standard emailing. No, none of that will jump over The Fast Pass, but ultimately we want to do something for those that support our platforms in some other ways.
I'm dabbling with a social platform called Pickax. It's brand new, but I like very much how it works and the ease of use. It's very similar to Locals in a lot of ways. The biggest key to it - NO ALGORITHMS. That means that unlike Facebook or X or even YouTube, our followers WILL see what we are posting. They have a phone app (I have it on my iphone, and it works extremely well). Last, I know I mentioned it, but I have put Spotify back up for those that want to watch or listen there. Two weeks in and I can already see it's going to be a bumpy ride with them as far as removing episodes when we play music, but I'll try to keep stuff there as much as I can.
Anyway, you're now caught up!! As always, while I bust balls constantly on the show, it is much appreciated that you all continually watch/listen/support the silliness that Neeley and do with the CMS, my Chris Akin Presents stuff, and even the Seth Williams Show. I'm glad everyone finds something in it that makes the shitstorm known as "regular life" a touch better... unless you hate listen, and for those people, thanks for the paid clicks on Rumble, FB or YuckTube!
