Tonight on THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW, Neeley and Chris Akin dig into three controversies that have rock and comedy fans talking!

🔥 **ROGER WATERS vs. JAMES HETFIELD:** Waters unloaded on the Metallica frontman over his approach to politics at concerts. Does Waters have a legitimate argument, or did he completely undermine his own message by personally attacking Hetfield?

🔥 **SHANE GILLIS CONTROVERSY:** The comedian is facing backlash over his SNL material. Has comedy become too sensitive, or should comedians expect criticism when they push boundaries? We’ll get into it on THE CUT!

🔥 **KK’S PRIEST / JUDAS PRIEST:** Chris was at the Cleveland Agora to see W.A.S.P. and KK’s Priest! He’s bringing his firsthand concert review, plus a discussion about K.K. Downing and Tim “Ripper” Owens revisiting classic Judas Priest material.

No corporate-approved opinions. No carefully rehearsed talking points. Just Neeley, Chris, the stories, and whatever arguments break out along the way!

Strap in, because this week rock and roll got caught with its pants down again. Judas Priest got put on trial for being a brand name with a leather jacket, Aerosmith wants a grand from you to watch Sammy Hagar and Billy Idol fill in the gaps, Blackie Lawless finally answered the backing-track whisperers, and Def Leppard decided the perfect running mates for Pyromania are the Goo Goo Dolls. Seriously. Meanwhile Seth dragged Chris through another round of Cleveland sports misery. Nobody was spared, nobody got a participation trophy. Hail and Kill. Here's the carnage.

THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW

THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW 10/10/26: Is Judas Priest Still Judas Priest? Aerosmith's $1,000 Comeback!

Is Judas Priest facing an identity crisis? Is Aerosmith's expensive Hollywood Bowl comeback worth the money, or are fans paying for a parade of guest stars? And who thought pairing Def Leppard with the Goo Goo Dolls was a good idea? Chris Akin and Neeley tackle these questions, challenge the state of classic rock, and deliver the unfiltered opinions and laughs you've come to expect from THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW.

Did W.A.S.P. Finally Silence the Backing Track Critics?

Is a $90 night of W.A.S.P. and KK's Priest a better deal than thousands for Metallica's arena spectacle, and did Blackie Lawless finally put the backing-track controversy to rest? Neeley reviews the Des Plaines Theatre show (KK Downing, Ripper Owens); a CMS listener buys Chris a Cleveland ticket; Don Dokken meeting fans; Quiet Riot's new singer John Torra; Hellraiser vs. Freddy; and whether pro sports lost its appeal.

Are Classic Metal Bands Becoming Nothing More Than Brand Names?

Does Judas Priest still deserve to be called Judas Priest when the musicians who built the band are no longer there? And could KK's Priest actually be delivering a more authentic version of the legendary metal band's music? Neeley and Chris Akin tackle the controversial question of whether original band members really matter anymore. Plus, a Dangerous Toys debut album reissue giveaway for THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW's Locals community! So where do YOU stand? Rob Halford's Judas Priest, or KK's Priest with KK Downing and Tim "Ripper" Owens?

Are Aerosmith Fans Paying for a Concert or an All-Star Cash Grab?

Aerosmith's two Hollywood Bowl shows: ticket prices up to nearly $1,000 plus parking and travel; a guest list (Guns N' Roses, Run-DMC, Sammy Hagar, Billy Idol, Nuno Bettencourt, Tom Morello) that may crowd out Aerosmith itself; comparison to Ozzy's farewell; livestream economics; Metallica prices; and the big one: would you actually pay $1,000?

Def Leppard Going Soft?

Chris Akin and Neeley question Def Leppard's arena tour with the Goo Goo Dolls and The Struts: what do these bands have in common, could Leppard reshape its setlist for "Iris" fans, does it make commercial sense, Pyromania memories, ticketing prices, and why Chris passed on using his Phil Collen connection for the Ohio show.

THE SETH WILLIAMS SHOW

DID VIVEK GO TOO FAR? Guardians Done & MLB Strike Coming?

Seth Williams and Chris Akin take on the Ohio governor's race ad featuring Amy Acton's own mother and whether family members should ever become part of a campaign attack. Then it's Cleveland sports misery: the Guardians' season is over, and baseball fans are staring down a potential MLB labor dispute that could wipe out the 2027 season. Plus whatever other ridiculous stories come up along the way.
